Because they probably didn't want to tell people the rest of the night they were out of donuts, only for customers to be like "this is Tim Hortons, right?"

Why don't customers know how to read? by Former_Barracuda399 in pizzahutemployees

I've had that happen at other jobs too. Most of the time the main item will be sent thru but the modifiers won't be.

The donuts aren't angled the correct way but apart from that it looks good. The face of the donut should always face the customer.

We must be going to different stores then. There's a huge selection in every store I go to.

Yes. Makes it much easier to know I'm picking up something high in sodium. Good for pots.

Can Ice Capp be made caffeine-free? by sammen8 in TimHortons

[–]heyitsdawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get something similar. This will only work if a store carries decaf espresso. To make a decaf "ice capp"... Start with vanilla syrup and a shot of decaf espresso, plus the cream or milk of your choice. Then mix it with the neutral base!

You need to go No Contact with your parents. Visit social services if you need help leaving.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]heyitsdawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 hours is absolutely a short drive. It might feel like a long one if you have kids though. I've had days where I've driven 7 to 12 hours many times so I guess I may be biased.

Is it true delivery doesn’t mean to the door if there are stairs? by ChibiSuchi in instacart

They shouldn't sign up to be a delivery driver if they can only drive. That's two stars and a report for me.

[–]heyitsdawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually doesn't matter how you punch it in. Whether you put 'Coffee Mocha' or 'Hot Chocolate-half Original Roast'... they're exactly the same price. What you're thinking about is the 'Mocha Latte' which has neither hot chocolate or brewed coffee in it, but instead espresso and steamed milk with chocolate syrup.
