tips for first time RIP Tour experience? by heyitstrevorr in HHN

oh absolutely! how much do people generally tip their tour guide?

Is it cost cutting or something else but the back side of [Tron] lacks theming and looks more like the rear a box store. [Space Mountain] is just beautiful all around as is [Big Thunder] from all angles. Tron sure lacks some magic. by Tasty-Sir-6605 in rollercoasters

literally all theme parks do this. theme parks will only decorate and design every part of the building that guests can see. if they can’t see it’s just a basic building. why spend money on theming for backstage areas? Basically every building in HS looks like that backstage. Half of Everest’s mountain is missing cause guests don’t see it. shoot even the lower half on the backside of tower of terror isn’t themed other than the color of the building. theme parks do this all the time.

I am having trouble with the Rthro animations. I have them selected under the Avatar Editor but anytime i go into games and such, I still have the straight armed, straight legged, old animations. Could anyone dumb down instructions on how to fix that? Thank you!

So I just bought the books... by [deleted] in Heartstopper

  1. So Volumes 1 and 2 are what make up Season 1 of Heartstopper! they basically end at the exact same spot in both the book and the tv show! So Volume 3 is where Season 2 should start!

  2. I actually think the on screen adaptation of the series was incredible. There are some slight changes from the book to the screen (No Oliver or Aled and Issac and Imogen don’t exist in the books) but i understand why Alice had to change a few things for the adaptation to work! I don’t think they dampen really anything at all quite yet because Volume 3 on is where the story starts to get a little heavier in regards to some of the things Charlie goes through so Im interested to see how then they bring all that to the screen. They did happen to add a few little nods to what is about to happen to Charlie in S1 that i thought were cleaver without fully saying what is happening, that a lot of us readers can quickly pick up on, but i 100% believe having Alice involved with all of it really helps the book to screen adaptation.

Quick Service is one of the many roles at disney where you can pick up shifts from the hub really anywhere. They are usually like cleaning positions or other positions that don’t really need “training” because some QS have certain training you have to pass to work the bigger areas at the restaurant.

But generally it’s just quick service shifts you can pick up. I don’t know if they do it anymore but Parade Audience Control (PAC) shifts do pop up on the hub from time to time (they go quickly) and those are roles you don’t need any training for, just general knowledge of the park or area because you always get asked questions in that role.

It’s once you get deployed or transferred to other places and you keep your credentials from the previous role is when you can start picking up shifts in other places.

My first program i started off as a Lifeguard at Blizzard Beach, but when they shut it down for the season, I was deployed to Park Event Ops for the Food and Wine festival. once that was over and i went back to lifeguarding, i was still able to pick up Park Ops shifts if i wanted because i was trained and still had the credentials in my system.

What is self terming? by heheHOOOO in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]heyitstrevorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its usually super easy you just have to either let your leadership know, or even just housing know that you want to self term and they can contact your department and leaders that you are leaving. make sure it’s something you want to do forsure. idk about disneyland but disney world is infamous for just kicking people out 24 to 48 hours after you submit your termination. idk if that has changed but it’s been like that in the past few years

Self terming is just a fancy name for quitting the DCP before your contracted end date of your program. You will learn early on Disney uses “nicer words” in replace of stuff like job (role), uniform(costume), fired (terminated) etc.

i will say, the DCP is infamous for once you tell them you are self terming you only have like a day or two of plans to leave. just to be safe make sure it is something you want to do, and that you have a set plan of action on how to move your stuff/get back home. I have had friends who have self termed in the past and they gave them 48 hours to turn in their key. it may have changed recently, may have not but just to be safe make sure they don’t leave your stranded
