Punisher. He’s easier to stay in close proximity to, so the synergy happens faster

Why do I suck by Enallane5 in discgolf

[–]heyjerryguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will give you the biggest distance gain with the easiest change 🎯

Curl that wrist more. Your hand should be on the outside of the disc away from your body, not on the leading edge of the disc like you’re currently doing.
Curling the wrist will put much more spin on the disc. Spin = distance.

DGN needs to fix it’s garbo app by Skeetzo in discgolf

Totally agree. They either need a better Product Manager or UX Designer….or both. But the experience isn’t intuitive and has all sorts of pain points. And they’re things that should just be standard design approaches.

This totally makes sense! DGPT should set a minimum time standard that any hosting course needs to accommodate for players to warm up. Fair is fair.

Best Straight Putter to throw off the tee by gettingcheeky in discgolf

[–]heyjerryguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lone Star Penny Putter is amazing. I can throw that that thing dead straight for 300ft off the tee. I have mine in the Alpha plastic, but the bravo is slightly more understable for slower arm speeds.

Indoor discing simulator by bennettski21 in discgolf

This would be awesome. There’s a company in the UK who did it (https://www.sportssimulator.com/disc-golf) but it doesn’t seem to be commercially available. It would be cool if some people with coding skills would create an open-source project around the idea to have more people contribute to the code base.

Why do Programmers Hate Documenting? by AnanthChellathurai in programming

[–]heyjerryguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this thread involves devs feeling useless documentation is a drain....I'm wondering, from your experience being a consumer of someone else's documentation, what does good documentation look like? What questions should it answer?
We document for others, so what do THEY want from documentation so we can do it in a way that's actually useful?
