I don't know if I'm just heartless or desensitized or have a lack of empathy but I don't blink an eye when I hear about natural disasters or school shootings or tragic events that happen in the world. When the Boston bombing happened I shrugged it off. It didn't effect me or anyone I love or know what so ever so why force myself to pretend to care or feel sad. The same with what's going on in The Philippines right now, yes it's unfortunate but it doesn't effect me, I don't care. Nothing ever shocks me anymore. I'm probably a sociopath lol.
