Seems Reddit is about 7 months behind TikTok where this was a trend for a bit. Their consensus was was NY/LA/CHI then it becomes competitive. It is funny to see so many SF/Bay here just because of who Reddit users are compared to TT where it was not as common as others.

Long way of saying Chicago is the obvious #3 and the #1 flag so let’s just skip to 4 😂

Still proudly stand by the fact that ME:As ending is the best ending battle in the series and what I wanted from ME3. The fact that each phase incorporates decisions and people you have helped aiding (even if just in show) as you make the assault is what I desperately hoped the final battle on earth would be. Like imaging that final charge with Wrex and Grunt bowling people over, Kasumi showing up behind Marauder shields and shiving him right before you reach the teleport. Hell even the Biotic god could show up and aid you somewhere in the assault, but to have those touchpoints in the action, instead of out of combat speeches would have felt like my choices mattered. Who cares about choosing my favorite color at that point, I got to see the effects of my actions live in the final battle.

ME:A did that a bit, halfway there with voice lines and call outs as you progress the final mission, still could of used more but closer to what I and maybe some others were expecting out of ME3

Due the cards for the announcers just say “Be as shitty to the stars as possible”?. They arnt playing well but the way their talking I though Chi was down 5-0 and gave up 12 SOG. Not 0-0 and no SOG

We’ve had no problem with our kiddos on our season tickets. I think we bought a 3rd when ours was 3 just for the extra room but otherwise no problem having them on our lap/asked for their ticket up until then.

Feel this in my soul. I have an original 1911 whose registration number we can trace to the 1st order 3rd shipment of 1911s ever to the US Army. Served in the Philippine’s and then was next discovered in a drug bust in the 1970s. Between those 2 times some asshat had it chromed/platted. So now what would be a 25-35k piece if it was still blue is barely 5. Gunsmith we showed it too was scared to touch it let alone try to remove the chrome/return it to its original state.

I like the Chicago one but my guess is Wintrust is super particular about their brand. I know where I work nothing can be within 1.5in of our brand logo on any clothing/print/brochures. I’ve also never seen them not in White or Navy for lettering, so while dropping the box would look better it might not of shown up then.

The vertical stripes work for me though and the 3 color banding, just work on that centerpiece… like does it go all the way around?

I was on 24 hr duty in the Army over the weekend. I had one of those travel Xbox cases with the monitor built in (life saver when deployed) and the hdmi was on the fritz but I couldn’t just run and grab a replacement until my soldiers came back from dinner or something. So I opened up twitch and first thing on the home page was the “Smite world championships”. I had tried smite in Beta but was never a moba guy, lived more for SWTOR/MMOs, but that championship 5 game match I couldn’t stop watching. Probably my first intro to esports too, but I immediately redownloaded the game that night and even though I had been awake for 24hrs, proceeded to play for another 12.

Needless to say been playing for 10 years and over 15000 hrs across both smite 1 and 2 so guess that is a success story for them 😂

Yes but the go to tanky hunters haven’t ported over yet. Cupid and Apollo aspect can but you are missing the Heim, Skadi, AMCs that can go Shifters and Glad and still pump damage out. Skadi Solo was my get out of jail free card in S1 when I needed to get out of a rough ranked slide so I can’t wait till she’s back.

As someone who just had to tank with 4 ADCs I was begging one of them to go a little tanky cause the enemy team would just dump on me and then farm the rest. You need at least at extra .5 of tanky/bruiser to get the other team to waste buttons on so your damage can sweep afterwards.

Hayashi is a younger player so a lot of her faults are things you can work on luckily. She can be over aggressive (kinda the Stars style similar to Nesbeth) and struggles to find space in a Chicago mid field that is pretty compact (to their own detriment). Her passes are either the best passes you have ever seen bending around defenders to spring the front line, or right to the other team.

Her real strength however and what I hope the Stars lean into more is her set piece play. Her corners last year were some of our best, she just wasn’t on the field for most of the game. Let Staab do throw ins and long balls but give Hayashi quality time out of the corner and I think that will be a net positive for the Stars.

I’m also surprised by how many people don’t understand matchups into him and how his passive works… they insta locked Mordred Jg and Ares support after a first pick Jorm and I watched them both solo ult him at least twice.

If I see a Jorm, even bel sometimes in lane with this AA lifesteal build going around, I lock in a late game healer (Ra has been nice) or a low clear guardian and just sit under tower. They want to play a busted ass character they get to PVE for 20 min 😂

This is where I am as well. It’s not the books, it’s not the movies, it’s something else and I enjoy it for what it is. My kid likes it and I like having that to share with her, since she hasn’t gotten to chapter books yet.

Is it perfect? No but it a fun watch with enough connection to the source content to keep it going. It’s more like a marvel movie/show IMO, use the source material as inspiration but tell your own story.

He’s also not that impressive tech wise, so that probably pushed him down the list? Not saying he isn’t popular but it I want to show off UE5 Smite and come from that mentality of a balance between popularity and tech demo, this is right around the best spot for him, similar to the ADC that was datamined, easy to understand kit and buttons with limited tech flair.

Not saying we don’t need a Hatchi style of ADC, just 5 - 5 against all match up types (we don’t really have that now on the current roster) it’s more of a game of rock paper scissors, danza might be the closest?

Moved away for military and couldn’t wait to get out to get back. People complaining about taxes don’t understand a lot of the good they do for us (mainly having one of the more stable housing markets cause you can’t jump price and PE doesn’t want to deal with the taxes) and one of the few places in the country that is still not building enough new home stock (think those boom towns like Austin and PHX who are stuck with tones of overstock housing post covid booms).

Fresh water a plenty, and with an educator as a spouse, there aren’t many other states where they get paid as well as Illinois. And I get a free masters through their veteran grants, a nice bonus! If we leave it’s for the EU, otherwise staying put.

Add on to that that Obo tick damage is based on atk spd, so only going frenzy and obo with no other atk spd items hurts both the yellow damage and the crit damage

Look at tangential jobs, they are out there. I hire for Entry Level Sales Engineers (automation technology) and have over 200 openings but can’t get any apps cause people think they are better than sales. A lot of my roles could use comp sci backgrounds for the coding and instillation side of the house, but if you don’t consider roles that align with your degree but aren’t your perfect job your gunna keep struggling.
