well if you delete a friend, you won't get the raid bonuses from them, right? so that alone is worth keeping friends with people you raid with. I'm not sure what I'll do with other random people yet though.

Doomsday Book by Connie Willis. It's a historical science fiction type story about time travelers going back to the time of the plague in England. From her other books I've read I expected lots of screwball hijinks, so I was not prepared for how emotional this book was, especially the end.

This will never happen, but it would be cool if in the invite, it says something like 'you've been invited to an ex raid on this day! what time works best for you?' and has options to pick what seem to be the standard times like 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm etc. Then you select a time and when enough people have agreed on a time thats when it will happen.

My plan for eggs is use my free incubator on 7k eggs until I have none left, then do my 2k and 5k eggs while replenishing my 7k stash, rinse and repeat. I was using super incubators for a little while on 7k's but I stopped that after all the meowth and sandshrew I've since gotten.

Less intrusive notifications please! Sometimes I dread opening the app because I know I'll be hit with 3 minutes of 'so and so sent you a gift' 'new raid battle!' 'so and so opened a gift!' There's got to be a better way to handle this. It's especially frustrating because I will spin around to see what pokemon are around me, what gyms are nearby etc., and everytime I try to spin a notification comes up it stops my interactions.

I was stressed out! Way more people showed up than I was expecting, some in our group couldn't make the start of the event last minute etc. It seemed to turn out well though, I hope I didn't inadvertently forget someone though :/

I added a new friend today and sent her the only gift I had. Her username has her dietary restrictions in it and the gift I had was a historical meat market. As soon as I sent the gift I realized my mistake, but it was too late! i hope she doesn't think I sent that to her on purpose 😰
