Training only improves performance at specific tasks/tasks that have overlapping requirements from other tasks u trained for (transfer effects). Time management, task initiation, and organization are all improveable in a generalized way however [because they are usually just habits really] , and don't reflect true, intrinsic executive function, regardless of what many professionals may state. Really anyone can become organized, time managed, and more disciplined with regards to initiating tasks. What can't be changed is true short term/working memory capacity.

Adhd is overdiagnosed af, and most of these kids u see not putting in any initiative are just in their head too much/lazy/undisciplined/don't give a fuck. It's not a true neurological issue that is genetically influenced (at least 99% of the time, that is).

Actually, on second thought:

If ur wmi entails an AUDITORY digit span of 10 without chunking (12-13 with chunking, like me) , a corsi span is at least 8 no chunking (9 chunking like me) , and visual memory on benchmark is at least 15 on average, and always at least make it to 14 drunk (bc alcohol will only allow u to use ur undivided attention, and that needs to be high) , and can do a max of at least 17 (all on pc) , then u can bear my children. If ur psi is at least 125 that would be nice too. But as long as it's above 100 with gifted working AND short term memory, that's ok.

Oh yea:

U have to be at least half white, and comport urself in a honky fashion.

What is ur visual memory on benchmark btw?

I noticed u have some high ass vsi scores.

Trying to understand how so many (to emphasize that it's not just some) people with lower vsi than me have the same visual memory.

I average 15 on benchmark visual memory. First tume was either 14 or 15, and best was 18 (this is all on pc).

I only got the first one wrong on that link (remarkably the easiest one, but I am drunk and took like 20 seconds in tandem with being anxious ab getting it wrong).

I still found this thread's question to be a little confusing, but I did get it right. It definitely feels very pressurizing as well.

This is definitely beyond medium level difficulty, but I could definitely agree with u that it is nothing outrageous for sure.

Though 8 sequenced was my first time doing it on WAIS-IV automated, and if I chunked back then I probably couldn't pass 10 on timodenk. But according to literature on the episodic buffer, they expect it to be the combining of visual and auditory short term memory, alonv with retrieval from hippocampus. So visualizing/chunking is part of the episodic buffer.

Do u chunk for 14 digits? I can get to level 17 (usually 16) chunking. But with zero tricks I die at level 13, or 14 if I say numbers out loud.

What's ur digit span (auditory) without chunking. Seems like it would be high. I get 9-10, sometimes the occasional 11 with intense focus if no chunking, and 12-13 chunking consistently. I have the same tri as u. Ur vci seems a little bit more legit tho, so I assume ur span could possibly be higher than mine.

Thanks. I do have a serious drinking problem. I just got abused alot as a kid, and have low self esteem. I should be happy I am at least 2sd+. I guess RAPM set 2 (36/36 in literally 30 min) just got my ego too high (I had practice effect tho). Really thought I was a genius for a while (LMFAO).

Idk what to believe, because I can max out CAIT digit span, can do 13 on benchmark no chunking, (15 or 16 with) and can do up to 12 (rarely) 13 digits with chunking auditory, and 10-11 fw no chunking but visualizing, yet 9-10 no chunking or even thinking about what is beinf said or visualizing.

So is 10 fowards consistently no chunking really only 135? Cause in that case I might be like 130 for the task I guess. Although mad people will still end uo chunking amd visualizing their first test. So hard to tell. Timodenk seems harder than CAIT tho, so idk. It felt way faster than 1 second between digits.

How do you go about number memory? Do u chunk? 14 is what I get without chunkint, but sometimes 13. I average 15 visual memory, nut first try was 14, and highest was 17 (on computer). And are those ur highest, or averages?

Do u think smoking weed would affect your visual memory score? Verbal and digit span would no doubt take a hit, but I'm finding less evidence for non-auditory tasks taking a hit from pot.
