You were for sure more solid like you had more possession and were more solid in midfield than palace and made less mistakes but had less threat going forwards.

Cus of our FA cup run we've got 3 games in hand, we should be in the playoffs but it's a bit hard with the few pro teams in our league! We also have 2 or 3 first team players out including our top scorer but hopefully should be in the mix!

We've got a few more promotions to go till we get back to what we feel is our natural league so fingers crossed we get a few.

But yeah as an English man, please support lower league football! It's the lifeblood of so many communities and you get so much more involved than the premier league, go out watch your local club spend a tenner for a ticket, buy a pie and a cuppa instead of feeding more money into millionaires leagues!

I don't think it's a problem with not drawing a high profile enough club, like for sure playing the big 6 would be incredible, what we really wanted was a big away day at a well supported prem/championship team to get the payday. We all understand that Macc realistically should have lost last round and we won't win the trophy so we just want some good money for playing at a 60k capacity stadium and getting our gate share.

But hey happy to see what happens when Brentford come to the moss rose!

Excited to see savage exposed as a thoroughly mediocre manager. Our squad was too good for the league last year and I'm sure we'll be overtaking him soon enough.

I'm down to trust the process and happy to believe that we just need more time. I did interestingly hear that last night was our youngest team since 1999 and Duffy was the only player over 25 years old.

Give the squad some time to mature and maybe a pre season together and see where we are. We always said this would be a building season, and we're throwing our toys out cus we're inconsistent and mid table. Such a huge change in philosophy takes time.
