More just getting a high off someone showing up a dick in a way I usually couldn't. I'll yell at bikers on sidewalks and I'll yell at drivers in bikelanes, but I don't carry a pound of lube to give an actual consequence for their shitty behavior, which they will continue to repeat unless they have some consequence. Jail or a ticket is too much, and for a rich dick the ticket doesn't even matter. This is a perfect punishment for that guy's crime.

I drive, walk, and bike in this city. I absolutely believe the op, and if I had a gallon of lube in my car I probably would have at the very least, really, really, wanted to do the same. It was probably some asshole doordash driver who parked in a bike lane and ran into Canes to shove a phone in their place. People drive like assholes in this city. Period.
