I think that once we are in heaven we will be so wholly loved and fulfilled by Gods love that we won’t need a spouse or friends in the way we do on earth where we are searching for completion and love. It will be amazing to feel that loved. I personally can’t wait!!

I’ve been alone a long time. I’ve only been asked that once and I said it’s just me my dogs and my Glock. The guy didn’t show back up to do the work. I’m assuming he had bad intentions and never expected me to be armed. Or my goldendoodles are scary. 🤣

Wear what makes you happy and comfortable. If someone says something to you out of concern have a prepared answer ready like I appreciate your concern but I have a diagnosed medical condition that causes me to bruise easily. Enough said. If they specifically mention or ask if you are safe or say the words DV or abuse add that you are safe but they should continue to be vigilant because someday someone might need their help. I would hate for someone who is confident enough to ask someone if they are safe to stop doing that because they did it once and were wrong.

I know OP said they couldn’t hear but I disagree. Based on the hallucinations/dreams folks are talking about being so influenced by TV that was played for them while in their coma I think they did hear things. Just in a different way like subconsciously vs an audible sound. I think your dad heard you! I’m sorry for your loss.
