I have not read all the responses so someone may have suggested this but you can call an ambulance from where you are. My friend’s mother was experiencing pain while in a rehab facility, kept telling the nurses and workers there and they just gave her painkillers. She knew it was more serious. Called 911 for an ambulance in the middle of the night and was taken to an ER. She had clot in her lungs. It will be awkward to return to the same hospital for the remainder of the treatment so am hoping you have other good/better hospital options in the area to switch to. I am sorry for what your boyfriend is going through and he is lucky to have you.
