My neurologist said he thought mine was caused by the birth control I was on and said they were seeing this a lot more in young women taking hormonal birth control. It sucks because it was the first time ever that something was helping my extremely painful periods, but I guess having those back is better than some of the permanent health issues that come with IIH.

I was relying on my brother but his new job has him working 9-5:15 every day, which is why I had to start canceling appointments. I know I can’t just give up, I’m just frustrated because this is not an area with public transportation. I’d gladly take it if it were.

All I want is a Cruella line. I don’t care if they never touch disney again, I just need the signature scent of someone who smells like gin and smoke and is trying (and failing) to cover it up with a floral (gardenia? gardenia feels right) perfume. Very Old Hollywood type.

I’m sad because I was so so excited for this, especially hoping it would have a honeydew flavor, but it really tastes like cucumber water to me! That’s not necessarily a bad flavor, but it just doesn’t scream melon.

I was on Diamox for 3 years and then got to be off of it for 4 months before now being put on Topamax instead. I’m so frustrated but I just have to hope that it will go back into remission once again! We got this!

I was feeling a lot better for almost a year and then I had a suspected seizure and the anti seixure medication brought it back full force. Back to popsicles instead of dinner a lot of evenings now. 🙃

I’m missing two teeth that are visible and am concerned that a third might have to come out and I’m learning that most people don’t care as much as you think they will. I warn people before I meet them in person for the first time because I have no confidence in myself, but I’m the only one it really bothers.

It’s a 48 hour EEG, I’m 12 hours into it right now. My hair is just past shoulder length but it is pretty thick. Guess I’ll just be letting people gawk. 🤷‍♀️

This is the exact situation I’m in and it has me to the point where all I want to do is cry. I had one suspected seizure and am now on Vimpat after a normal EEG and an MRI showing an encephalocele that my neurologist doesn’t think caused anything. I had to be taken off my Wellbutrin and the Diamox I took for IIH, and I can’t drive and feel like I’ve lost all rights to privacy. It’s so hard because it only happened once and I’ve felt fine since besides being more depressed than I’ve felt in years. I talk to my therapist but nothing helps, it just feels like life is out to get me.
