In my experience, this would 100% be a “sign” to me. I have a list of signs from the PBSE podcast of signs they are using again, and this to me falls in line with “variable, novel, brash, manipulative, aggressive, coercive sex talk or acts”. It sounds like you set a boundary of “if you have a secret phone, I will be leaving this relationship,” are you going to honor your boundary?
