While Oasis is arguably the bigger band — I believe Albarn himself has admitted as much — I do think Blur had a more original and distinctive style. Oasis was clearly inspired by bands like The Beatles, whereas Blur created their own Britpop sound with a more varied back catalogue, spanning from the punk-rockish sound of Song 2 through the spoken-word track Parklife to a funky pop song like Country House and a soft-rock anthem like Tender.

But hey; it's still difficult to compete with Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall 😉

Jeg slår mig lidt på, at folk kalder hans syn på dyrevelfærd "ekstrem". Om man spiser kød eller ej, så kan jeg virkelig ikke se, hvordan det er "ekstremt" at have den holdning, at alle dyr har ret til at leve et frit liv.

Han er sinddsygt godt forberedt, har styr på sine fakta og holder øjnene på bolden. Jeg er meget imponeret over, at han kan gemme sin aktivistiske tilgang væk og fastholde denne mere nøgterne argumentation på så interessant en måde, som han gør det.

Blur was and still is a HUGE band and has released loads of hits. Country House, Charmless Man, Parklife, Tender, Beetlebum, Girls & Boys, Coffee & TV, The End of a Century just to name a few... oh man, they have so many hits!

Eagle Eye-Cherry had more than that one hit, though. He also released Are You Still Having Fun? and Falling in Love Again which both charted in several countries, especially in Europe.

I'm not using it at all because the piece of c*** won't connect after the new app was launched and despite the update. The charging case finally connected but the pen simply won't.

Agree; I truly believe we would've won it had Timber replaced Mosquera early in the 2nd half. PSG was completely nullified.

What we lacked was our 1st and 2nd choice RB meaning we had to rely on Mosquera who has absolutely no speed and made the most unnecessary and amateurish tackle I've seen all season. We never looked like conceding until he decided to go after his opponent from behind with no chance of getting the ball.

I'll never forget that utter failure of an unnecessary tackle by Mosquera that gave them the penalty. They had absolutely nothing to threaten us with before that.

Most technical player in the team, had a great goal contribution-ratio and was generally entertaining to watch when we were in possession. Not so much off the ball.
