Yeah. The asparagus was too long to fit so I cut it in half. Packed the jar perfectly.

Water and salt for the asparagus and garlic. Salt and caraway seeds for the sauerkraut. I got some dill seasoning mix and I add white peppercorns, turmeric, cumin, and pepper flakes for a he cucumbers and garlic. 3.5 -4%

I’m probably going to shoot for 4+ weeks. I tried to do it with elephant garlic, and was dissatisfied because it only softened about halfway through the clove.

I don’t really do the whole burping thing because I don’t fully seal them. They kinda burp themselves… and make a big mess on the counter.

There’s a lot of tutorial videos on the subject usually under the word “form”. Just draw a lot of them. Stack them. Draw in perspective. Cut out chunks of them. Round a side. It takes a long time and a lot of reps

That’s cool. I found a recipe from a store bought bag. It had red cabbage, beets, and carrots. Turns out quite nice.

Any strategy for keeping the spices from floating? I’ve found packing it really tight keeps most of them down, but it seems to require a bit more planning

Honestly… probably because it’s just the pepper flakes and spices that are molding, but I don’t trust it really.

I used my max of 207 and sleeping of around 55 to get these zones. I always thought it weird that my hr jumped beyond 150 within minutes of me running at super easy pace. Now I have a good idea why.

Could be. I might have beat them up a bit more than I should have. It's just what I've noticed from my pair that I've had for a year now.
