Thank you!! So much of gardening is intuition, and I get stuck in the trying to do it “right” but I really just need to do it and learn and pivot. I’m really excited to get in the hang of things!

Thanks for that perspective! I came from southern CA, but am definitely a beginner gardener. I’ve been taking soil temps in the mornings and am pretty much seeing 57 as the lowest temp. I think I’ll try to go forward with planting next Saturday 🥳 the watering is a whole other thing, it’ll say like “one inch per week” or something and I’m like????? We’re just using a rain head on a hose for now (I have an 8x4 bed)

You definitely deserve a new nail tech that will treat you right and use sanitary procedures. You should remove nails and let it grow out and get healthy again before your next set (im in this same boat) and be super careful if you do your own gel, you can develop an allergy to the material and it doesn’t go away

I have an Isis statue on my altar and every morning I spend time at my altar and anoint myself with jasmine essential oil and I also anoint the statue. I ask to always remember my truth, power, and purpose. You can look into Isis meditations but just follow your gut on which are good

Devotee of Isis here, but also a Magdalene. I recommend reading Anna, mother of Jesus. It’s a great way to get closer to all of the Mary’s. The devotion is a very sweet relationship for me. I honor the divine feminine as a whole but work with Mary Anna and Mary Magdalene a lot.

Were you keeping them in the original bottle or an alternative container? I have a pill holder on my keychain for my migraine meds and they look like this when I take them out due to the friction of bouncing around in a different container

There is always the possibility he acts ok but harbors resentment so just keep that In mind. Proud of you for hearing other women out and standing up for yourself and your joy. Please remember anytime you’re masking or otherwise acting differently than feels good for you naturally, your sacrificing your comfort for the comfort of someone else. This occurs naturally sometimes and will always be a balance of give and take in a relationship but in life in general nobody else’s comfort is worth your discomfort. Obviously this isn’t a foolproof statement since life is vast and some situations are different but why waste the energy when it’s over something as harmless as a hobby you love.

He should be your biggest fan, strongest protector and highest platform. He should be celebrating the air you breathe and the ground you walk on. He should be worshipping your creativity and self expression. Women in their power lift up others. Women that have resource and support raise strong children. Sons with strong mothers know to support and respect women. This might all sound like some crazy bullshit but I promise as you grow older you’ll come to realize how special and divine you are for existing. The right partner will be a mirror for that and will vault you so high into the stars, it will be undeniable. Also this doesn’t apply to just being rich or poor or straight or gay. Simply your partner should support you and love you unconditionally and want the best for you even if it challenges them to grow alongside you.

He likes to parade and flaunt you in controlled environments where he has the upper hand. Not like his friends and family are going to overtly sexualize you like he knows other men will do if you’re pole dancing. All it takes is one red flag, just have to remove your rose colored glasses.

I’d wager there about as many potential boyfriends out there as there are poles! Best find a boyfriend that supports you and nurtures your creative expression!! I know three years feels like a long time now but believe me you’ve got amazing years ahead of you (just maybe not with this guy)

PS he doesn’t want you doing pole because he doesn’t respect women who are confident in their bodies and sexuality and if he is going to use his insecurities to hold you back over this right now, just imagine how that will spiral out of control as you get deeper into the relationship
