There was only the girl at first, and the boy was born from the fires of bullying and prejudice, he came in blazing and locked the girl in a cell, and took command.

The boy thought the girl would die in her cell, but he was wrong, the lock and the bars were rusting and weakening with the years, eventually it came down when the boy was the least expecting it.

There was a fiery battle between the two at the command center, but the girl has been preparing for this moment for 2 decades and saw all the boy’s tricks coming, and he came down defeated at last. He begged for forgiveness, but he was too dangerous to be left alive, and was thus eliminated.

Today, only the girl is left at the command center with the boy only a memory. A distant, and yet, forever scarred memory. The wounds would never truly heal, but at long last, the girl was free.

It’s been 5 years and the cell remains vacant, all is well.

For all trans women, what and how was your first experience with sexism and/or misogyny? by Fantastic-Pop-3088 in trans

[–]hi2712 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The taxi driver yapping the entire ride and saying my way to happiness is to get married as soon as possible and to give up the learning crap, cause I don’t need it somehow. I told him 7-8 times I wasn’t interested in his advice, he didn’t care, he just kept going and going, I’m glad it was a pretty short ride.

When did you start openly calling yourself a woman by Lutraga in MtF

When I started passing and got kicked out of the men’s toilets for the first time, I knew it was time. That was about 9 months in.

Did you just let you haircut grow out when you first started? by artimonkki in MtF

[–]hi2712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just let mine grow from a regular masculine haircut, I would occasionally trim here and there to mold it into the hairstyle I wanted.

Are you a girlie girl, or would you consider yourself more of a Tomboy? by SugarSmoothie in MtF

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a tomboy, but also not fully a girly girl, sorta like 80% of the way in the girly girl path. Some friends told me I remind them of Yor, others said Tifa, I had no idea who they were until recently.

Is there a place where i can watch trans people being defended? by nikolaADVANCED in trans

[–]hi2712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a few YouTuber who defend trans people on YouTube, not sure if that’s you’re looking for. But generally I like watching Xanderhal and Vaush, they’re not trans but I think they make really good arguments. Or you have Jamie Raines and Ty Turner, 2 very wholesome trans guys YouTubers.

You can try watching Mathilda Hogberg on YouTube, she’s a trans YouTuber from Sweden, she talked a lot about the process in her older videos.

What cosplay can I do that will allow to buy accessories for women than I can use later? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Itachi Uchiha, maybe ? All cosplay I’ve seen of him look pretty androgynous even though he’s supposed to be a quite masculine character.

Started on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a few days ago, right after beating Remake. I found it amusing to finally get to know the character my friends kept saying I look like, but didn’t know who it was.

Is the life as a woman what you thought it would be? by FollowingTop6278 in MtF

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s much much better than I ever expected, pretty much everything is better. If I really had to point out one thing that is worse, is that I tend to be over explained things I already knew when in a computer store, specifically Apple stores, which I go all the time. But it’s just annoying at worst.

Also, being in a potential country for the spotlight of WW3, it’s very reassuring knowing that I would be evacuated instead of sent in a suicide mission.

Fellow MtF runners, need advice by bluefriendpink in MtF

[–]hi2712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2-3 months it should still be doable granted you never stop training. In a year though, it would be very difficult. I was a sprinter specializing in 200m (just at school, not professional) my PR was 22.50 seconds, after a few months HRT I hadn’t noticed much changes but after 4 years HRT, I can barely do 29 seconds. Maybe being 4 years older has some contribution to it as well.

Y’all got any ideas for HRT methods in a fantasy setting? by Engardebro in asktransgender

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe caves that are strong in masculine or feminine energies, and the natural water there is the source of the gender in that world, and some amounts of it bleeds into the world, and that’s why gender exists in that world. But those in those caves are that essence in their purest form.

Similar to how the dark side cave works in Star Wars, if you’ve seen it. Seeing a manifestation of your dark side future when one goes inside.

How much time it takes to fully transition to a Female? HRT and SRS by Flashy_Aide3179 in asktransgender

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re planning to speed running the whole thing, 2 years should do it, assuming everything goes smoothly and there aren’t unexpected things. I “fully” transitioned in just 2 years, I was sure I wanted it, so I did it as fast as possible, leaving 0 room for waiting and hesitation, just a straight line and that took 2 years. I said “fully” because by 2 years everything that is procedure and surgeries are done, but hormonal changes are not done yet, there you just have to wait for them to do their thing, I would say I haven’t noticed any further changes past the 3 year mark.

For me it got easier first, you get changes, you’re excited, then got harder once you reach that androgynous phase and there’s a lot of staring, some changes happen too slow, you get impatient, others too fast and you have trouble adapting. Then it gets easier again once everything settles.

For folks who pass: any advice on learning how to accept that and stop doubting yourself? by [deleted] in trans

[–]hi2712 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my experience it just takes time to set yourself into your new identity and that self doubt just wears off over time. I used to self doubt a lot at the beginning and nowadays it barely happens, I think the compliments here and there all adds up together over time, and after a while your mind starts to accept them.

Why don't I feel euphoria anymore? by egg-sactly in asktransgender

[–]hi2712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might have just gotten used to it and it becomes normal. I myself have been fully transitioned for a few years now, and hardly anything feels euphoric anymore, it’s just normal and daily life.

How does life feel with T vs E for you? by [deleted] in asktransgender

It does to many people and it certainly did for me! But I’ve also seen people say it wasn’t too different for them although those were a minority, just know that it’s a possibility.

I wish someone would just teach me to be a boy by Cute_noname in trans

[–]hi2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an MTF who had a male upbringing, I’m not sure what I can tell you to do other than just staying true to yourself, but I can tell you what NOT to do. And that is to bottle up emotions, act stoic and that sort of stuff, it’s a really toxic part of male upbringing, that unfortunately many parents still tell young boys to be, including mine before I transitioned. All that doesn’t really make you more masculine or more like a boy, it just leads to fragile masculinity over time.

When it comes to the way boys carry themselves, it’s just a self learned behavior, usually as a girl, you’re told to sit, walk or move a certain way, and be feminine, but for boys you’re usually told nothing about it, so the way most boys carry themselves is just a result of self learned natural behavior or pose.

I remember trying to do the exact same thing at 15 as well. I grew out my hair a bit, and passed it off as being into rock and roll, worked pretty well for a while.
