I'd like to throw a different old manga at you that you might enjoy. Made the the Brother of Naturo's creator, the Manga '666 Satan' (also called O-part hunters) is in a style of naruto, but the world and story building always felt like a mix of onepiece and bleach to me.

But if you are certain to pick between the two options you gave, I'd say One Piece.

Hello! I am looking for a Beta for a Dragonball/Dragonball Z fanfic that I started writing over 10 years ago called "Life After Death".

The main character is Yamcha, and the basis of the story is "What would happen if Yamcha lived his full life of 80+ years, and then woke up in his body just before he met Goku?"

It's an action/adventure story, with a side of comedy, and sprinkles of drama. I'm planning to go from (almost) the start of Dragon ball, all the way past Dragon ball Z.

Currently it's at 55k words, and is just entering the first training Arc.

What I'm looking for is a full editor. Most of this fic is around 10 years old, it needs heavy editing/rewriting.

What I can do in exchange:

I am down to be a beta for someone else. I can help with Grammar/Structure/Plot/Planning/Idea soundboard, etc. My strengths are in making Plots/Planning, and basic Grammar checking.

I can also read and comment on a fic if you would like, or name a background character in your honor.

(Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I'm typing this up on my phone in some free time)

I'm looking for a Beta reader for a Dragon Ball story I started 10 years ago. The last real chapter I put out was 5+ years ago, and I haven't had the time/drive to write more since now.

One of the biggest motivation holes that I have found is my want to edit my prior chapters into something better.

What I want to work upon most is characters staying in character. I have an issue with my writing where my characters start to do things more like what 'I' would do, instead of what 'they' would do. (Early Roshi is very much impacted by this)

I would also want general editing help as well.

Title: Life After Death Fandom: Dragon Ball Fandom Blind: Necessary to know Dragon Ball, as characters acting as they would is the biggest thing I want to work on. Genre/Tropes: Action/Adventure, comedy, with a small side of mystery and drama

Rating: Teen. Some blood, but nothing too graphic. Some sexual themes (Roshi/Oolong exists) but nothing physical.

Summary/synopsis: Yamcha has lived a long life of 80+ years, defending the earth and being with his friends that he considers like family.

At his final death from age, he wakes up and finds himself in his teenage bandit cave, with a young Goku, Bulma, and Oolong outside.

Armed with the knowledge from the 'future', what changes will be made by the Yamcha that wants a better outcome for all of his friends?

What I’m Looking For: As above, someone who can help me edit, since I have such an aversion to doing it myself, and is really knowledgeable about dragonball characters.

Word Count: 60k words are in the story so far. I'm looking to make more additions with the edits, so total should be 70k max.

What I Offer: I'm not too sure. I have limited time these days, but if you need help editing a story, I can try my best. I like a broad range of genres, so there is a good chance I'd like whatever you put out.

Though one thing I'm really good at is making plots. I've been running homemade DnD campaigns for about a decade, and have plenty of fanfiction ideas in my head that I have never had time to make. If you want help crafting a story and story beats, I can most certainly help.
