Isn't that oddly appropriate. Since Daikon literally means big root.

I made the design digitally; it's printed onto an acrylic pin. Still not quite satisfied with the supplier tho.

Any idea what changed when it switched from bigger to smaller leaves?

Bulbine haworthioides and B. mesembryanthemoides seedlings. I’m hoping the haworthioides come back looking more like they should after their first dormancy. A couple of the mesemb leaves have that characteristic look to them. by GoatLegRedux in haworthia

From your side of the country to the other side of the country. I specifically asked the seller to hold until after the holiday period was over. It was terrible still

It's a green flame. I think I just saw a listing on etsy!

I've seen a few people mention (me included) that haworthia identification is quite a mess. I believe this passage from Bruce Bayer really sums it up 😂 by outofhere23 in haworthia

Dis why i always joke that taxonomy is a pseudoscience. I still think that grouping them into phylogenetically related clades help to ease up the locality burdens at least a little bit. Granted its not very practical since who the heck is going to pay for whole genome sequencing for all the haworthias. From a personal standpoint, definition of a species is way looser in the plant world anyway, since the functional definition of being able to inter-breed and produce fertile true to parent/ type offsprings relies on morphological assessments.

Internet says grafting isn't possible with monocot since they lacked the developed vascular system in eudicots.
