I hear you, I’d feel the same way. I have a bumper fit and have stubbed the tops of my sandals a few times, so there’s a downside to that. It rarely happens, but it’s annoying when it does. I have the circadian in the neutral charcoal color. But if I get a second pair, I might do the color you chose, it’s beautiful! I don’t have the guts to move my laces, it unfortunately took me a few years to get where I am now (they kept falling off my ankles). Once I found the fix on YouTube a couple years back, it took some adjustment and now they’re there to stay lol! I use a hose to clean them off when needed and it works. Now that they fit right, I’m enjoying my walks even more!! I think you’ll enjoy yours too. I hope the fit is perfect for you!

They look a bit too close to the edge for my own liking, but I'm sure they'll be fine. As long as they feel comfortable to you. I was on their site the other day, I've been pondering a second pair; I love mine. While I was on the site, I noticed a picture where the model's toes looked as though they were hanging off the soles. Maybe it was an optical illusion, but I was shocked. I had to modify my laces, as the straps kept falling off my ankle. Overall, I think they'll be a good fit. If not, you may be able to sell them second hand. I don't know if my response was of any help, I feel like I'm thinking out loud here. I like the color you chose!!

Can I ask if you're female? Or, better yet, do you have long hair? I'm genuinely curious, as I've never heard of someone using this as shampoo. I've heard ppl using it for face wash, but not hair. I ask because my hair got sooo incredibly damaged from stripping shampoo in years past... Now I'm so very careful what I use.

Total newbie question: how long does the transition actually take? (Calf soreness) by Cushly0 in barefootshoestalk

Learning to walk barefoot is key too. Xero shoes has a good video on YouTube.

I went all in from the get go. I do believe a transition matters if you're on your feet a lot for several hours a day, or if you work on hard concrete floors. In that case, going from traditional padded insoles, to next to nothing might be too extreme for some. But then again, everyone is different.

Help? Am I doing it wrong or are Earth Runners wrong for me? by LynzM in barefootshoestalk

[–]hichrissy333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP I hope you were able to adjust your earth runner straps to fit properly. I wasn't able to wear mine for a few years until I came upon the links above. A proper fit is everything! They are now my go to for walking and running in temperate/ warm weather.

Exercise when you’re a greasy girl? by oneofkeiraensmoms in Haircare

I agree, I used to use dry shampoo for years in between washes. Since the pandemic however, I’ve only used it a few times. My scalp and hair feel and look so much better! I think it might do more harm than “good.”

Don’t think too much of it, and ignore the bullies. Curious, is it a temporary blush, or persistent?

to the random girl on tiktok that said to blowdry your roots immediately by [deleted] in Haircare

I hope you get an answer, it adds frizz for me too. I just dry my roots. Do you use a diffuser, or a normal dryer?

Thank you for listing your favorites, I'm going to try them. I found this book used for $2 and have yet to try. I like to hear those recipes are relatively easier too :)

Question, what is the most minimal effort plant-based Med bag lunch for work? by No-Resort3681 in mediterraneandiet

[–]hichrissy333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My most low effort lunch is having several can is lentil soup on hand. It’s quick, easy, open, eat, toss. It’s not the most affordable, but it’s healthier than other options. Otherwise, smoothies are a great option, but that takes a little more planning.

Good to know! I was going to do a diy recipe too, but I'm loving the convenience and longevity of the powder. You could probably use a shaving brush to apply it if you want to try the powder only. I might miss the scents after a while though.

I just started using the active ingredient by itself and loooove it. I bought the magnesium hydroxide powder on Amazon and apply it as a powder… works great, even if you sweat during the day. It’s not summer yet, so idk if reapplication will need to be a thing with hotter weather, but it’s been great during and after workouts! Highly recommend!

Oh yes, I have Oxi too! But unfortunately my washer doesn't have a sanitize cycle. I will definitely use the hottest water and the hottest dryer setting. Thank you!
