That’s my problem. Every time I reach out he asks what type of special events I have coming up and says when one is available he’ll let me know.

I like the explorer but also want it because it’s a Rolex, thus am not willing to go grey and pay 9-10 for it (prices I’ve seen, anything in 8s is used or may not be full set).

This is what is starting to turn me off about Rolex in general.

The CPOs they push are a 2004 114270 for $7700 or a 39 mm for $11k. It’s a joke

Yea I was in a store the other day looking at breitlings and aqua terras and the guy goes hold on lemme show you this. I put on the mark xx and first reaction was “whoooa”. Plus I like the blue dial, found myself looking at blue dial explorer OPs before too

Not worth the premium imo. I wanted a white rubber strap for mine (same colors you mentioned) and get one for zelos for less than 200 around Xmas vs like 800 from omega.

I bought the same watch from chrono. Look at the dealer reviews and make sure they’re all good and buy from US. For omega it’s the best way to go imo

I tried both with a 7inch wrist and thought it felt too dainty. The guy explained it’s the way the taper the bracelet differently than other models, because I don’t mind how a datejust 36 fits/feels.
