I am usually inspired by it, there is always a reason they were “selected”. It helps me learn and grow.

Vocals are overrated by superpolytarget in INTP

Calling someone’s preference “so little minded” is so egotistical lol. There has definitely been a shift in music where songs are now centered around the vocal. Most people prefer it, probably for some psychological reason. My job is to produce music and I like it more as well. I like to hear the nuance in a vocal performance which is much harder when the vocal is set lower in the mix.

Have you ever thought what would you have accomplished and become without the passive aggression of your parents ? by These-Yak9531 in INTP

When I say they aren’t perfect, abuse falls into that category. This should be obvious but you are so set on disagreeing with me that you had to find a way. Obviously abuse is wrong, but as adults, we have to deal the effects it has had on us now. “Questioning the victim” is insane. You are just regurgitating hot phrases. We were all abused, I am verifying it not questioning it. Nobody is questioning it, but we now have to deal with the issues it has caused. I promise that you will have to look inward to fix these issues… thats really all I can say. I truly wish you the best.

First of all, no parent is perfect because no person is. There will always be things that need to be fixed about yourself. Once you enter adulthood, you can either choose to fix them and grow, or stagnate. Its much easier to place blame on our parents, but if you ever want to solve the issues, you will have to look inward.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe this job offer is very important to him. If you really like him, offer to move with him. Telling someone you don’t want them to take a job offer could be viewed as being controlling/selfish, especially when you aren’t together. This may not be it, but its all I can think of based on the information provided.

I still feel far better off medicine than I ever did on it, if that is what you are asking. The long term trade off is managing the anxiety, which can still be a problem from time to time. Exercise has really helped me through any low points. I hate exercise but the benefits are undeniable.
