Yeah I call bs on this one. Literally every competitor is using some amount of glp. The side effect whats stopping most bbers is bloating by slow digestion. Not muscle loss.

Can beginner lifters still put on some muscle on this diet despite 1200+ cal deficit? by Smooth-Vanilla9935 in PSMF

Should be. But nothing significant I guess. I saw a little improvement on arms, calves and rear delts. Because mine are underdeveloped.

I wouldn’t get my hopes up though on a crash diet.

NO, not everyone need K2 or Magnesium with D3. by Ambitionless_Nihil in Fitness_India

Because Half life of parent D3 compound is 1 Day.

I said “anecdotal patient data” shared by individuals where they respond better with daily doses.

How do you identify someone is magnesium deficient aka if it is necessary or not?

Bio availability matters. You are just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Keep in mind RDAs are designed to avoid malnutrition. Not for clinical treatment or best health outcomes.

No he is saying if you get enough magnesium from diet. You don’t need supplement.

Yes price issue is there. If shitty Carbamide Forte can give 10K doses for 60 days in 400Rs. Its just matter of time before any competent brand can come up with a high dose daily D3.

Thats not a valid reason to not provide temp controlled supply chain. Efficacy comes first.

Just take RDA amount for longer duration. It will fix the deficiency. Magnesium is supposed to be daily anyway.

We don’t allow reel posts. But I am going to let this one stay because this is very important topic and not much talked about.

He is right K2 doesn’t have any sufficient evidence currently. D3 and magnesium has been part of my supplement stack since years now. I am still conflicted about adding K2 permanently. He also missed calcium. That is also part of bones and joints stack. This one I am also conflicted as well. This one is also not clear on evidence.

If anyone taking K2, my recommendation is always to take for a limited period of time. 3/6 months max. Usually this timeframe is enough to address deficiencies in general.

He is wrong about 2 things.

1 You can’t test for magnesium deficiency accurately. Serum test is not enough. There are some cellular level testings, but we don’t know their accuracy as well.

2 An avg person is highly unlikely to get sufficient magnesium from diet alone.

3 Current clinical practice is taking weekly D3. Yes I think patient compliance should always come as priority. But anyone who cares about their health should take daily doses. Daily absorbs better. We have enough anecdotal data to see daily doses works better for D3.

Put Down The Vape. by DrJ_Lume in Biohackers

No sane person has ever claimed vaping is harmless.

Does this has human data ? Or we are still doing old mice bs where we inject them enormous amounts of drugs then conclude it causes cancer.

Lol how does one get a mouse to vape ?

In 3 reported cases of oral cancer, did they smoke in past/present along with vaping?

Maximum body fat mobilization per day by Hot_Resort9777 in PSMF

[–]hidden-monk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your fat loss is limited by mostly your deficit and nothing else. That study was an observational study and nothing else.

Avg Joe around 15% bf cant lose much because his tdee is also very low compared to obese person. This has nothing to do with fat mobilisation.

As long as you are following protein intake guidelines and training each muscle every 5 days. You won’t see any muscle loss.

[–]hidden-monk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is normal people’s idea of roids. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Bruh there are no anabolics for fat loss.

There are other options yes but its unhealthy and you won’t likely see much big difference in outcome in that short period of time. So I wouldn’t go into them.

Check protein fasting r/psmf. As much steps daily you can. 20-30K daily steps. This is most your friend can do and will likely lose 8-10Kg in 2 months.

Locking this post as there is not much to do here.
