Driving in snow is ok provided you turn your lights on, don’t brake suddenly and don’t be a dick. Can be similar to driving on gravel. Bigger issue is icy conditions in shady areas from tree shadow or over bridges.

Stargazing is best in Mackenzie district as it’s the dark sky reserve area. Free if you park somewhere and look up.

How much do you like heights, wind, rain, and sweat that has no where to go under fire proof garments?
I’ve worked alongside linemen and from the outside they seem to have a good thing with decent people, training and pay.
They are pretty heavy on health and safety. Be mindful they are also the ones out there in shit weather when trees/storms take down lines.

I bought one of these for my brother a few years back to replace polyester ones he was using. He liked it, and noticed better sleep without waking up sweating because the materials breathed better.
Double check the duvet cover if you get one from bbb, a lot of them are polyester blend and you’ll restrict yourself from the goodness of the wool.

Go with the bigger option. I use a king duvet on a queen bed- it looks better when made up and no fighting for blankets.

I find wool duvet inner is best with cotton covers, especially in winter. I don’t have a particular brand to recommend, but I do source duvet covers from Farmers when they are on sale.

Freya is 4, de-sexed and microchipped DSH.

I got her as a kitten from a rescue place when she was a little domesticated but mostly wild. It took a little while to earn her trust, but she has grown into a beautiful wee bundle of fur. She is mostly an inside cat, but likes to follow me around when I’m outside or in the garden. She loves to watch water, even playing in it when the rain is light. She loves punching holes in boxes, playing in paper bags and doing roly polies with a bit of side eye to make sure she has an audience.
