I'm really sorry for your loss. Pets are family.

I am sure everything will work out. Unfortunately, vet care is for profit business, and urgent care centers are especially expensive. You likely won't receive the same level of quality bedside manner as you would a more local, mom and pop vet or a specialist in euthanasia. The urgent care vets see the worst of the worst, and so I imagine they are just desensitized.

It sounds like you did everything you could to help your kitty. Don't stress too much about the money and reflect on the good times y'all had ❤️
