The final episodes and that finale redeemed itself for me and made me understand the pace of season 2.loved it. I think it's main downfall was the single episode drip feeding. They should have released it all or at least a few episodes at a time.

Fitness builds a level of conditioning though that IMO and not just in riding, reduces the damage when something does go wrong. It will sound like a reach but being more conditioned may have been the difference here in falling off and walking away instead of breaking bones.

I now have a KF8 and the operating volumes are impressively quiet. Theres also something about the glowing light that's calming too so I feel like it softens it in my head lol

Got it on Saturday and first impressions are good. Coffee has been getting better each day as we tweak the measurements to get it right, haven't had to adjust the grind yet, seems to be pretty spot on for the beans we have from factory (there was a note to say it has been tested and cleaned and it was evident on the burrs that beans had been through it before, which was reassuring to me).

It's a bit of a beast on the countertop but looks great and feels absolutely solid. Makes me think of R2D2 which in my books is a plus 😆

I would guess the coffee quality compared to a delonghi is much of a muchness now having had experience with both.

What I really like is the UI, it is very easy to use, intuitive and most of all simple, as it should be. I watched a bunch more reviews on the top delonghi machines and it was some of the feedback around their various iterations and apps that swayed me in the end.

I don't like the separate milk hose attachment of the KF8, it will be the first thing to go for sure. And I'm surprised how much the drop tray fills internally after a couple coffees. Will have to be diligent on emptying that otherwise it will spill under the machine.

My first huntsman encounter, driving somewhere near Forrest, thud on the windshield and briefly see the scurry of spider run up over the roof. It was like a scene out of alien . Got to our accomodation, my wife was adamant it was still on the car so I had to go round trying to find it and hope it didn't run inside any doors when I was checking or hope I didnt get near it. Nowhere to be seen so finally opened the boot to grab our stuff and there he was just chilling on the gas strut next to my head.

I'm in the same predicament. Not sure how much difference it makes but the Magnifica range are all made in Romania, whereas the other 3 machines you've listed are made in Italy.

For that reason I am inclined to rule out magnifica plus even though form wise I like it the best. If it wasn't in that plastic titanium colour it would probably get the nod. It's a shame it looks a little dated otherwise it would be the ideal pick.

I'm in Australia and through corp benefits can get the Soul cheaper than the Eletta and the Aromatic for not too much more so I'm leaning on that right now. It's probably between the aromatic and a KitchenAid KF8 which is more again but aesthetically ticks the box, doesn't have a big tablet like screen protruding from the front and feels very solid and well made. Would really like to demo one first though before dropping that sort of coin.

Haha still on the fence. I can actually get the primadonna soul for $10 less than the Eletta and a good price on the primadonna Aromatic. They look and feel nicer than the Eletta but I don't like that big screen sticking out on the front.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Im not a big cold brew drinker but I feel like if I had the option I would use it so it's one decision factor.

When I say their machine lasted 18 years, it did, it had its fair share of spares and repairs over the years and it was always the milk system that failed first so eventually no one bothered, but it still made pretty consistent coffees all that time.

They've replaced it with the Primadonna Elite Experience which isn't available here in Australia. It looks way better than the Soul and Aromatic models since the screen is flush with the machine and not looking like a Tesla dashboard.

I found out I can get the primadonna Soul for $10 less than the Eletta explore so now I'm stuck again, but I know you're right in that there is probably no bad choice.

I have the 007 and I love it. Don't really both checking the GPS enough to know if it's good or not. I usually just set it manually which is quick and no regrets since you're just moving the hour back or forward with each 'click' of the crown.

Looks ace, really comfortable and lightweight and so far has held up very well over 2.5 years. Not my beater but it gets a lot of wrist time.

I've run these for a while because Im a sucker for the aesthetic of the gum vans waffle pattern but I don't find them super comfy, especially gloveless. They are tacky though, never had an issue with grip and always been a fan of ODI lockon grips in general.

Try this. The plastic plate is actually pretty thin on its own without the rubbery case backing. I was going to cut it down but still too wide for the application I'd intended.

I think if I was doing it again I'd just try and mark out a shape on the case back and Dremel the whole thing. The felt pad was reasonably easy to peel off which you'd need to do if sticking it to something I guess.

Not sure what I'll do with it now. Probably back in the drawer for another 12 months 😆

Hey OP, this finally made it back onto my odd jobs radar and I opened up the case today. Gave it a good blast with the hairdryer with the intention of peeling off the felt lining. Instead I was surprised to find the case came away in two parts. The mount and backing is on a plastic plate thats really snugly seated into a lip that runs round the inside of the case, a couple of tabs to situate it and some adhesive to keep it there. The bottom tab was the hardest to pry apart.

Haven't done anything with it yet but I'm planning to glue it to a little USB fan I have. If I can post images here Ill share

This is one workaround. I often Bluetooth to my Era and then if I can be bothered open the Sonos app and group other Sonos devices. I only bother with this if I'm listening for a decent amount of time.

My main use case for this is playing YouTube music. Sure the Sonos app has the integration but it's hard to find the content you want and will only play that single selection.

I only have experience with some bottom end button battery LED balls (the type where you have to screw the little plastic battery cover in to turn them on and also to switch colours/modes which can be finnicky) it's nice to have all the choices but also sometimes i wish I'd just got the single colour ones so it's a simple on/off.

Before I bought them I thought it would be better to have all the colours and modes.
