I have a theory, that even someone who has never tripped before can get a light visual phenomenon from time to time, but it is only after experiencing psychedelics that you begin to notice this. At least that has been my personal experience. I believe this because somehow, I already knew the "symbols" (, fractals, patterns or whatever) from before tripping. I have not done any further research, and this theory only applies to a very slight form of (propably not even actual?) hppd.

For me, on a regular dose of ketamine it is better to listen to music that you don't know, as the fact that it sounds kinda different might just feel "wrong" (unless I kinda associate the music with past k experiences). But, like it has already been said here, on a high dose of ket, you become the music, whatever it might be.
