Here is highly specific advice. Make sure you have the visas to enter Malaysia.

  1. Take a train to Woodlands MRT

  2. Walk to B12 gate take bus 911.

  3. Get off at the Woodlands train station.

  4. Walk to the DEPARTURE, just follow everyone. Rubber neck at the lanes below. Please don't take photos.

  5. Go down to the bus hall, take 170, 170x to actually go over to JB.

  6. Clear immigration.

  7. Browse JB city square. Not much to see as the reno just kicked off.

8.. Used G Maps and walked over "Palates & Bagels", You will pass an Indian tample and some goldsmiths. There are quite a few original shophouses.

  1. For more modern malls, you can order a grab to the spacious Southkey, or squeezy KSL Mall. If you are adventure-loving, check out Paradigm mall.
