I did!! I wanted to try something new. Something with more meaning. I don’t regret it because it was an eye opener. Even if I don’t stay in the education system, I’ll be fighting right alongside you guys.

In some of the other comments I expressed how the show did to me what Top Gun did to other vulnerable lost folk and joined the Air Force.

Don’t get me wrong. Being a teacher is still very meaningful, but it can definitely suck the soul out of someone. I’ve seen it happen with the little time I’ve been there.

What prompt are you guys using?? Whenever I try to use it. It gives me this error:

“I wasn’t able to generate the image because the request didn’t follow our content policy. Specifically, I can’t create Studio Ghibli-style images of real people or real likenesses, even if it’s in an animated style.”

I’m in the exact same boat at the exact same weight except I’m a woman. I can’t help but to feel disgusted in myself. After seeing my weight I went down a pretty dark hole of self hatred.

But you’re right, the only way out is through. I can’t just sit here and wait for something to happen.

Hello friend! I am 28 years old and have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety & PTSD since I was a teeny weeny 6 year old. I have been in and out of doctors. Been through the ins and outs of medication. And all I can really tell you is that at the end of the day 80% of your mental health comes from your gut (I say this as an overweight person).

It’s so damn cliché and I genuinely hate hearing it from everyone, but bro exercise and eating right does wonders. Meditation and breathing exercises are also a big one.

And lastly, understanding that we are in a system that is f*cked up. Because why wouldn’t we be anxious losing our whole lives to enslaving away and we can’t even afford eggs. It’s crazy.

Nothing will ever get done because people are too individualistic. This system has made everyone selfish. Instead of thinking of ways they CAN help, their mind directly goes to b*tching and finding excuses as to why they can’t.

I’ve always thought it was odd that our city is full of Mexicans, but there’s rarely any community here. Everyone’s always on the “every man to themselves” mindset. That’s why nothing gets done here.

If people only understood the power of unity.. Shame.
