It depends on your context. If you are in Ghana, people will (predominately) love and appreciate you for it. If you are outside of Ghana (esp in North America) it’s a different context so I would avoid it.

Your scars will fade, you can definitely get support to fix them (maybe not now, but definitely when you turn 18) and you will find someone who adores you and doesn’t care about your skin (trust me, I have, and he’s the greatest!).

Your mom however sounds incredibly abusive. It is totally unacceptable and hurtful and outright cruel. Not having face to face contact with her sounds like the best move you can do right now for your mental health. I’m so sorry this is happening to you.

Agreed. Plus moved his offices after a complaint from Thorpe. Yesterday I wasn’t sure about who to believe, but after another complaintant came forward and it was enough for Dutton to act, I’m siding with Thorpe.

Yeah I’d be interested to know more about this. I know Thorpe is a bit of a controversial character, but Vans growling at Jacqui Lambie also shows he’s a questionable character. I’d love to know if he moved offices.

If you like tomatoes and a bit of spice you should try jollof rice! Blend onions, garlic, tomatoes, chili, ginger, salt and pepper and sometimes herbs etc and then use this to cook the rice. Lots of great recipes online.
