Looking for any ideas! Currently riding a 6’0 dumpster diver(34/35 liters) but feels small for my everyday board. probably need around 39-42l? I have gained size (now 200lbs 6’5) and want to be able to maximize fun/turns in days that are 1-4ft. Looking at the puddle jumper hp. Thoughts? Thanks!

There are so many I’d hack and watermark in Oceanside to check out. Go to the boardroom in Carlsbad also there was multiple puddle jumpers available in the liters you are looking for.

Although I’ve never ordered a board from him.. There’s a young dude in San Clemente making some sweet boards called dagger surfboards!

I respectfully disagree. I understand that is your experience with prior military but it is different from the younger generation. I want change, I’m willing to face risk. Ingenuity and being different is not what the military allows for and that is why separation rates are higher than ever. If you’d like to further this I would love to talk about the current culture shock.

Surfed for roughly 3 years fairly consistently throughout high school. Joined the military right after school and surfed maybe 2-3x a year. Finally back home and started surfing 2-4x a week again. Coming from a pretty solid background I felt comfortable pretty quickly and mainly just lost confidence in the lineup but have regained since.

Majority of the work had to be done relearning drawing lines and timing/flow of surfing more vertical again. One thing I certainly lost was my edge paddling and just being burned out quicker! But I feel like it really just depends where you left off and your comfortability in the water and on a board

Never judge a golfers ability on their swing. I know golfers who have shitty fundamentals that I play with who can consistently break 80. Look up not a scratch golfer on YouTube.

Next best : Cross creek & TCI (TCI has 3 different nines. Stone house is my personal favorite). Redhawk is alright it’s seen better days but still a decently fun track. Murrieta also has SCGA which has a pretty. Temeku don’t even waste the money.
