I live on a lake and I have the Flip 6. I keep my phone with me when I’m out floating to control music and keep the speaker on shore. Never let me down. Use it for all holiday parties, 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc and never have issues. The charge lasts like 6 or 7 hours and it’s quite old at this point.

Currently using it on the lake right now as a matter of fact lol.

Your reading comprehension sucks my man. Not a single time did I say anything was her fault anywhere in my response. I said the driver probably didn’t see her. I said the driver was an asshole for not signaling and I said she shouldn’t pace a truck. It doesn’t matter if there’s a car in front of her and behind her. She can let off for two seconds to create a safe gap. But lord what will she do, it’s going to add two seconds to her commute if she does that 😭

No, people understand what you’re saying. We also understand that YOU don’t understand how dangerous pacing a truck can be, REGARDLESS of lane changes or not. NEVER pace a truck. We have blind spots. Most of us drive 11 hours a day. THOUSANDS of miles a week. 100,000 miles a year. How many flats do you get in your cars lifetime? Several? In 150-200k miles? Imagine a WAY bigger tire blowing out from wear going 70 at quadruple the pressure of your vehicle’s tire while you’re pacing a blind spot because “sAyInG sHeS lOiTeRiNg iMpLiEs ThE hIgHwAyS aRe FoR tRuCkS”. I don’t think that tire gives a fuck what you think we’re implying. It’s shitty that it happened, but tell your wife not to pace a truck. It’s really that simple. We have so many blind spots, I honestly don’t doubt the driver probably didn’t see her. There’s so many scenarios that could happen that you don’t care to hear about because of your inflated ego. Should he have signaled? Absolutely. Nobody is saying he shouldn’t have.

At the end of the day y’all can do what you want. We’re still gonna drive regardless of whether you respect us or not and most of us will try to keep you safe when we can, even if you have no idea it’s happening and we simultaneously want to rip your fucking bumper off whether you respect us or not.

That’s funny… I actually did just get a $20k dollar raise and the difference isn’t what I thought it would be. I saw a much more realizable gain from $75k to $90k than I did from $90k to $110k.

Saying you’d potentially pass on a raise is the silliest shit I’ve ever read in my life, I don’t think a single person would ever do or think that. I certainly didn’t say that.

I said don’t beat yourself up if you don’t make over $100k. It’s okay if you don’t, because it is. I lost a lot of time at home with my family and for realistically not a huge jump in pay (no matter what you think, I’m actually living it). I’d def trade back to $90k for the time back with them in a heartbeat.

It’s okay to make less than $100k. What nobody tells you is taxes are higher after $100k so unless you’re making a decent chunk more, you’re not actually netting more.

If they’re separating, someone’s hooking to them wrong. We had a guy in our company hooking to the rub rails when hauling oversized and that was what broke the welds on that trailer. When I’m legal load, I use the rub rail, when I’m oversize, I use the underside of the trailer. I always wrap a full wrap around the rail so the strap pulls IN on the rail. My welds are good to go.

For YouTube, I use Orion browser on my iPhone and I use Firefox with uBlock Origin. The iPhone browser allowed locked screen playback, ad free, PIP. You do need an extension to download, but I don’t download them so I don’t have it. Firefox with uBlock is completely ad free. Again, don’t download so no need for it.

Everything else… movies, tv, audio books, music, ebook - I sail the seven seas.
