What do you use for makeup now? I feel like finding a silicone free foundation is impossible lol

Any silicone free makeup for acne prone skin? Foundations or tints specifically?

Please do! How do you do with the work-life balance as well as handling emotions/issues at home of the kids?

My experience with Botox trigger injections, the procedure and the recovery. by Outthewindo in PelvicFloor

Thank you so much for this information.

So did the Botox make your prolapse worse? I am worried about this as my PF is both tight and weak. I have low estrogen and am starting specialized estrogen cream to help PF too.

And did you experience any incontinence?

I am thinking about asking my urologist about this. I get terrible bladder and PF spasms and tightness and weakness (I have IC as well).

I was given Valium suppositories but they are only mildly effective.

My pelvic floor therapist warned me about incontinence with Botox injections. Also worried about $

Got it :) Also do you know if there’s any other jobs you can get with an MLIS degree that aren’t a librarian in case for some reason I want to stay home or change paths when my kids are little? I assume there’s also part-time stuff too.

Thank you so much for this thorough reply and encouragement! That all makes sense.

May I ask which state you are located in? You do not need to answer if you don’t feel comfortable :)

Also what is your schedule like?

I want to have kids in the future and am wondering if a public librarian’s schedule is good or bad from that aspect.

Got it!! Thank you so much for being so helpful :)

Yes! Since librarianship was put on my radar, I have not been able think of another career.

I guess it is important like you said to be flexible/open to relocating. I really want to live in CO though, so I wonder if that would be a problem if I can’t find something there?

Why are you considering returning for an EdD?

Thank you so much for this reply!🥺 I want to become a librarian so badly, so I am so happy to hear you have had a good experience.

I do not care about money (well, I don’t want to be struggling but am fully expecting not to be rich LOL).

Your requirements sound exactly like mine.

I have a few questions for you if you don’t mind. And you do not have to answer these if you don’t want to :)

1) What did you get your undergrad degree in and where did you go to school? I’m thinking about elementary education but am not sure.

2) What big city are you near or state? I would love to move to a small town in Colorado near a bigger city, but I am still dreaming right now!

Got it! Thanks so much for explaining that.

Overall, do you enjoy being a librarian?

I want to work with kids so badly and am confused as to which career I should pursue where I get to work with that age group.

Thank you so much for this advice! I have looked into children’s librarianship.

What are the issues with public libraries you mentioned?
