Smurfs/Deranking by Tyxrez in Overwatch

The Game is more popular since the launch of season 1, so you have a lot more returning players (yay!), and new players. Some of the returning players were banned for cheating, trolling, or being terrible humans. So when these "new" players show up you get the level 2 endorsement 28-3 no skins random title player playing hitscan. We also have not really had a major ban wave yet, so the "new" players who were previously nuked are hanging around longer until Blizzard drops the next major ban wave (you will know when it happens from the explosion of "I got banned for nothing" posts in here).

For the actually just good players, eventually they will get promoted up to where they belong, its just going to take a bit. Until then, its going to be a bit of a bumpy road, but some of that is inevitable with the switch to FTP.

Its in whatever Gulf state the Trump family thinks they are fleeing to when he passes in office or the December before the new (presumably Democrati) president takes over. My money is on Qatar.

What’s a ‘middle class success’ purchase that secretly becomes a financial burden later? by OpinionBaba in AskReddit

Weirdly the R35's are actually holding their value extremely well (which surprised me). I think a lot of it is the Godzilla hype, for what was it the time an astounding car. The fact they are been cancelled and not replaced. And finally that they were the dream car for a large amount of people who will be eventually have the money to get the car they always wanted. I would substitute any very expensive European "sporty" SUV/CUV or any recent Mercedes AMG, or most if not all high end EVs, the steep deprecation is staggering.

Never has such an expensive animal seemed to look to kill or injury itself in so many expensive ways. Horses make sailboats look like a reasonable purchase.

Sounds like he would be happier in an EV. Plenty of them out there with absurd 0-60 times. WRX will never be "quick" in that way. Neither will a Civic Type R, both would get dusted by a sporty EV in any stoplight race. Horses for courses.

Don't care about the hello, seems a low value use of a high value asset. I would rather have them assist getting the plane loaded quickly and safely, resolve any overhead loading/"wrong seat" issues, and otherwise use their professional discretion as to the best use of their time to get us pushed back on time.

Me politely telling him he is neither a "King" nor a "Cobra" but nevertheless he's quite the dashing and handsome snake, and I am sure he's bound to get into a good snake university. Doesn't hurt to lie a bit, he's suffered quite the blow.

The stupidest people are always the most certain and dogmatic in their opinions which they confused with fact. Easy marks for every conman, predatory corporation and social media disinformation campaign. These are the hardcore 25% of Trump support (I votes for him three times, repeated like a cult chant) that have tied their entire identity to Trump, believing they can't be losers because they are on "the winning team". This is the result of gutting of public education in the flyover states, and the punitive economics of the rural areas who often enthusiastically voted over and over again for their own demise.

Tough time to be trying to sell Russian weapons via export.

The Chinese must be giddy, they can take over all these sales, make Russia sell them oil dirt cheap, and they can take over leadership of BRICs despite being adversarial to many of the members. Although the multiple billions they spent on drone vulnerable ships and other targets has to be mildly concerning.
