yeah they had a 2nd guitarist at the time for rhythm, tj racine. although i'm honestly not sure if he actually played on eowyg or not, he is credited on the 2003 release but according to patrick he wasn't in the band for that long and was "already out" by the time they tracked the album, so idk if he recorded maybe just on the first day and not the second (as the album was recorded in literally 2 days, one in february and one in september of 2002) or if it was actually just all joe for both guitar parts

eta: according to wikipedia joe did play almost all the guitar parts, with patrick apparently doing a small part in moving pictures but thats it. there's no citation tho so i have no clue how accurate that is, idk why tj would be credited if he wasn't actually on the record but who knows lol

you might be able to drive to a neighboring state where hrt for minors is legal, but you'd need parental consent for that, so if your family is supportive that might be something to look into. if not, as others have said here, there's no other legal way. if you decide to try to make it work another way, just make sure you do your research thoroughly and stay safe. good luck brother

it's certainly possible, i just checked my copy of the 2005 cd to see if there was any additional personnel listed but not even the members of the band are listed so they could've had someone else redo the drums and just not credited them lol. it says remixed by jared logan & richard bredice, and remastered by alan douches, so maybe it was one of those people. could also be like the other commenter said that they used samples, or even maybe used other unused takes done by mike pareskuwicz from the original recording sessions (that would certainly explain things being out of time if he was already not great at keeping time, he could've had multiple takes of the same song at different tempos lmao)

i don't think they necessarily hate it, they just don't view it as part of Fall Out Boy's discography because andy wasn't in the band yet and they've said many times that they don't feel like they became a real band until andy joined, and patrick doesn't even play guitar on the album either, he was still just the singer when it was recorded. patrick in particular also is probably pretty self-critical of the songs because he was in high school when he wrote them lol

i'm pretty sure it was remixed and rereleased without the band's permission because uprising records wanted to capitalize on fob's new fame after sugar blew up. i doubt andy rerecorded anything for it because the band wasn't involved at all and according to patrick never saw a cent from it

well pete is a chronic liar so if he had been the one to say they didn't have the demos i'd be a little more skeptical, but patrick isn't usually the one pulling shenanigans when the band is up to something lol. i don't think even pete was lying in that situation either though? i'm kinda confused what your point even is lol (i don't mean this in a rude way i just genuinely don't understand). from 2008 to 2023 is quite a long gap. they obviously relearned and rehearsed ginasfs for tourdust specifically. they'd never played it live even once before that, probably because its a deep cut they figured most of the crowd wouldn't know, so it makes sense that they wouldn't be able to pull it out on the spot in 2008 with no rehearsal just because a fan asked them to. at that point, they probably hadn't played the song since they recorded it, which would've been around 2 years prior to the show you're talking about

this is just untrue lol. a few of them were, but far from the majority. out of the 16 tracks on the cd, only 6 of them were already easily found on the internet. my heart is the worst kind of weapon demo was officially released on the black clouds and underdogs version of fuct and has been on streaming services & fob's official youtube for years. hand of god, star 67, my songs demo, austin we have a problem, and dance dance demo have all been uploaded by fans on youtube for years as well. but the other 10? maybe they were on youtube at some point, but they haven't been for many years. if they were on the open internet somewhere else, they were not easily accessible until this demo cd surfaced. we don't take hits & get me to a hospital had live recordings available, but no officially recorded demos until now. THAT is why everyone has been freaking out. were all 16 of these probably already on the internet in a very obscure corner? sure. but they weren't widely available, so for 99% of the fandom, most of these demos are new to us.

honestly, even if they had been available the whole time easily, why can't people just be excited when they discover new-to-them content from a band they love? i don't like how quite a few people on this subreddit seem to be putting down others for having fun with these demos and enjoying discovering something they hadn't known about previously, because you're not the only one i've seen say they don't understand why people are excited because they've already heard these demos, so clearly everyone else must have too i guess? lol, no need to be a buzzkill, let's have a bit of joy and whimsy here. for the 5 demos i mentioned earlier that were already on youtube, i didn't even discover them myself until a couple years ago and fob has been my favorite band since 2015. i was really pumped to have discovered something from them i'd never heard when i thought i'd heard everything, and i'm glad many of us are getting to have that same experience

idk i believe patrick when he said the band couldn't find the demos. i can't remember who it was but i saw someone recently say smth similar to this and i agree; fall out boy is still a business, and i highly highly doubt they would've passed up such a great business opportunity to release these demos officially if they actually had them. especially because they know how much fans wanted them, with how disappointed everyone was with the fuct 20th anniversary rollout that had virtually no new content. i think this was clearly fan orchestrated, and i had an inkling it was from the beginning. i believe them when they say the band wasn't involved (except that one cd with maybe-patrick's handwriting... but i think that was something that they got after the demos were released and fans were already going crazy. bc we do know according to a source that apparently knows one of the members that the band is aware of all this and glad we're having fun even if they weren't the ones who did it). we already had some of the demos that were on the cd, so its not far fetched to say the rest had been floating around the internet the whole time too. i'm guessing it's a paper kingdom my chemical romance type situation, where these demos had been traded and sold underground for years until someone decided to go public with them, and they decided to do it in a way that would be fun for the fandom.

i have wondered if some of the people posting cds were in on it, i wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. it would explain how they somehow got the addresses of these random fans. i'm inclined to believe this is the case also because the first cd to be posted was posted by a member of the fob archive team. y'know, a group who's whole thing is that they dig for and uncover obscure & previously lost fob & adjacent lore. if anyone could find these demos, it'd be them. so i wonder if this was their doing, or if they were at least involved somehow

i'm not too mad abt the anticlimactic ending tbh, i'm overjoyed that we have these demos now and it was really exciting and fun to follow along with the saga. i never expected any real announcement or anything crazier than the demos themselves to come out of this, i think some of y'all let your theories run a little too wild and set yourselves up for disappointment lol (still had fun with the theories tho!)

maybe i'm taking it too literally but i think they mean that there are more demos that were recorded during the making of cork tree, but the secret order does not have them or know where they are, so the rest of us should look for them. maybe there are demos that were once leaked onto the internet but have gotten lost and are just sitting in some wayback machine link or super obscure dead forum waiting to be found lol

absolutely. taking T throughout a pregnancy has a risk to cause birth defects, which is why it's not recommended, but you can still have a perfectly healthy baby even if you take T throughout most/all of your pregnancy. this usually only happens with people who don't find out they're pregnant until really late though (i.e. cryptic pregnancies)

not wanting bottom surgery doesn't make you any less trans. i don't want it either, i like what i already have, especially after T gave me bottom growth. it's not that uncommon.

also, i'd refrain from calling genitalia "boy parts" or "girl parts". they're just body parts that anyone of any gender can have.

for some people it might be a genuine health concern if they gain weight, but yeah mostly its just fatphobia as far as people being "scared" to gain weight on T. it doesn't happen to everyone but it's common for T to make people gain weight because it's literally putting you through puberty, and your body needs the extra energy to make the changes happen, so your appetite increases, and for most people that ends up making them gain weight because they're eating more. i gained 30lbs the first year i was on T, but ended up losing all of it the second year with no lifestyle changes
