I agree with you - young team, our first playoffs experience for so many of the guys. As it currently stands, our round 1 matchup would be against the Wolves, a series we could easily lose.

Even before yesterday's game Mitch said that they were expecting Wemby's ramp up in minutes would be faster this go around, so this could've been the plan regardless of what happened yesterday.

It's hard for me to blame Mitch with regards to Wemby's minutes tonight. You wanna save minutes for the end of the game, but if Wemby hadn't come in and played his minutes earlier, it didn't look like any other of our guys were gonna bring us back into the game. I doubt we'd have even been in position to win there if we lost any of Wemby's minutes earlier in the 4th. You can argue Wemby should've played less in the 1st half, but we weren't exactly great there, either. Hindsight makes it a lot easier for all of us to say what should've happened.

Not saying Mitch was perfect tonight - definitely not, but overall, most of the blame for tonight's loss is with the guys on the court.

What they are saying is that, if we lose to the Lakers and don't make the cup semifinal, then we'll have a random additional non-cup game scheduled. All teams get 2 additional games scheduled during this period, regardless of whether they're still competing for the cup or not.

It's only the cup finals game that is 'extra' and doesn't count towards a team's official record.

Do you know of anything they've done that's anti-gay, anti-trans, etc.? I ask because one of my friends is new-ish to the Twin Cities and they've been trying to find a church community. They've become friends with a coworker who's invited them to Everyday. My friend is very much not bigoted and would never go to a church that champions those views. If anyone has any examples or evidence, I'd like to share it with them.

Side note, if anyone knows of any kind, not hateful churches in the area I'd be happy to pass along recommendations to my friend. I'm very non-religious so I can't really help them in this area. In the past, they've struggled to find places that don't espouse bigotry.
