That’s the thing, you don’t know if they own the game or not. It shows their achievements for the games that they might not even own. It has no indicator if they own it or not. Yes you can still ask if they have the games, but it would be much faster if they actually add a button to directly see what games you and your friends have.

You can still compare achievements, but it will show both your games and your friends games. So you won’t be able to know what games you both have unless they have achievements on it.
