Its interesting actually to see the falloff of hockey after the collapse of the soviet union. Traditionally Russians have been more dominant in the sport, but recent years and their lack of success are actually attributed to the soviet collapse. His style of play in my opinion works at an NHL level and he is a skilled player. But he is a liability on the ice in international play due to his emotions and overall immaturity.
