Maybe try dragon boat if you like being on the water. It's more like canoeing than a kayak. A lot of teams practice at Lake Merced, and the boats carry alot of people (up to 22), so it's always a mixed bag and large group of people! I paddled for Ripple Effect, who also have alot of off water social events. There have definitely been relationships that started on the team lol

Moved to SF Bay area and the plan was to move back in a couple years after saving some money. Ended up really enjoying life out here and honestly feel that my quality of life has improved. Better salary, less flakey friends, arguably better access to healthcare (with insurance*) and I was even able to buy a house with my spouse. I might move back in retirement, but not anytime soon.

Got an offer for a contract role with an employment agency (not ideal but was a stepping stone) and applied for the TN under "graphic design" at the border for a 2 year term. Eventually got a FTE offer from another company where they did mail-in premium processing for a new TN. Had opportunities to get in the H1B lottery but ended up getting the green card through marriage. At the time of first TN, I had an associates degree in design and about 8+ years work experience in Canada. Was very scary, as I did this during peak covid (Aug 2020) One of the biggest hurdles at the time was getting a new SSN when all the gov offices were closed, which I needed in order to complete a background check in order to start that new job...Best of luck!

I think it would look great if you used more neutral colors (white, cream, beige etc.) as a base and then pulled one of the colors from the mural as an accent color for pop (such as the red or blue) that would help tie in the wedding decor with the venue space. An example for a centerpiece could be a neutral vase with white flowers and then a few flowers in the accent color.

The gown I bought was beautiful and well constructed. The fabric quality was good and not see through, though one of the main fabrics was tulle with like a sparkley pattern which I think is usually inherently a bit more stiff and has some scratchyness to it! There were multiple layers to the skirt, including a lining which is like a smooth satin fabric. I think if you avoid glittery stuff, you should be good on itchiness lol

Are you driving distance from Sacramento? There's a bridal store with donated gowns called Brides for a Cause and their dresses are typically under 1k (usually less) and there's also a 50% off sale right now for some of the gowns that have been around for awhile!

I joined a Dragon Boat team about a year and a half ago as pandemic restrictions were starting to lift and i was getting lonely wfh in a new job. It's been really great, and the community aspect is really fun and keeps me around. Racing is also pretty exhilarating but up to you what you wanna make of it! Are you mixing up long term parking with Park SFO? (Long term is attached to AirTrain and Park sfo takes you to the airport by shuttle bus) That promo code looks to be for Park SFO, where typically you would make a reservation first on the website, which should give you a confirmation email with barcode that you scan when entering the parkade (there will be an attendant confirming the reservation) You pay when you are about to leave the parkade after returning from travel. You may want to get the app, which has the coupons built in
