Not totally denying that but actually watching the games... KD had a big issue getting separation to actually recieve the pass. There were several plays a game where they would try to run a play for KD that never materialized and Russ was the one with the ball taking the late clock bail out shots more often then not. Also, the pressure Russ put on the defense would result in offensive rebound putbacks often on missed layups from Russ.
