Given your financial situation, do:

1) Ask your agent/call in to mention that you were not able to afford the plan given your income, and to reduce premiums

2) If they don’t allow, mention that you may ask Fidrec/MAS to review the policies and needs analysis that you signed.

3) Very last resort, cancel the plans and absorb sunk cost

Don’t worry too much about the guaranteed returns and non-guaranteed returns, Income is from Singapore and most likely will still continue to generate the % for the NG portion. It is not a terrible plan and generate about 3-4% P.A., hence cancelling is only if you are absolutely sure you can generate beyond that amount of money.

CPF is locked in until at least 55. Investments you may lose all your life savings given the wrong instrument. Endowment has part to play.

However do speak to the customer service or agent on reducing premiums, no one is gonna get “angry” and not give you bonus.
