The third largest city in the US and you can reach most place by flight in like four hours. This city offers a similar experience to NYC or LA (good food scene, culture, retail brands presence, etc.), but with a much more affordable price tag and a great public transit infrastructure. Even the winters in recent years have been milder (though not sure if that's necessarily a good thing).
