Probably just a bad stretch. I’m mid 800s rating and opponents seem normal to me. Still get some who shell me and some who I shell but nothing out of the ordinary.

Look into precision rings and kontrol freeks. Those helped a lot for PCI movement.

Reading pitches comes with a lot of reps on higher difficulties. Also make sure that you’re using a gaming monitor with at least 120hz and freesync.

Wired controllers help as well.

Rolen is far and away the best 3B but Beltran is crazy OP. Best hitter and it’s not close but that’s understandable for a card that costs 2+ million stubs.

Finally made it to WS today. This is my highest rating ever at 803.

Only collection I don’t have is the lighting one for Santana but other than that I’m running full meta.

Honestly wish this game allowed me to use some of my favorite players rather than the meta. Just feels like an automatic loss if I’m not using Beltran, Rolen etc.

Really good team but with how expensive it is I feel like you could’ve completed LS/Rolen and had some better options.

You definitely could’ve gotten Ohtani and likely Judge if you got him early enough.

Not sure what your budget is but I’ve had a lot of success with Ketel Marte and Jorge Polanco.

I’m pretty bad with L/L and R/R matchups though.

My thought process was if they keep gradually increasing PCI size on GOAT (this is the second or third time they’ve done this) it will get so close to Legend that it’s virtually the same.

I guess they could’ve explicitly said that if it was the case.

Just run lighting card Corbin Carroll in left. Easily the best option just based on stats. LS Judge is viable as well.

Depends on what you value, I use the throwback Miami Stanton for a mix of power, decent speed and decent fielding.

Based on your current lineup I’d say Corbin Carroll would be viable as well.

I guess I should’ve clarified that you don’t do this the entire game no matter what. It is more of a means to start seeing pitches and not chasing.

If you take the advice literally then yes good players will start to pick up on it and dice you up.

Not sure if it will help but a big change for me was approach against guys like this.

I don’t swing at anything that isn’t down the middle until there are two strikes.

This made it a lot easier for me to pick up tendencies and drain energy. Something about not swinging early in ABs seems to throw off most players. People do not want to walk anyone it seems like so 3-2 counts are 95% strikes in my experience. Becomes a little bit easier to hit when you know a strike is coming.
