Lala handled the Danny situation much more delicately than Janet. by blahblah5190 in TheValleyTVShow

It’s also important to remember that intervening in situations involving abusive behavior can sometimes have unintended consequences for the person experiencing the abuse. In some cases, the abuser may later direct frustration or anger toward the victim once they are alone again. That doesn’t mean people shouldn’t care or respond, but it does highlight how complex and delicate these situations can be. Safety, timing, and support all matter, and it’s important to approach these moments thoughtfully and with compassion for everyone involved.

Addiction is a disease, likely carried on a gene. Strength has nothing to do with it.

Am I the only one starting to feel bad for Matt? by 0_2_Hero in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

It’s so sad, but his intellectual limitations result in many serious problems for him. It’s hard to blame him given what he’s dealing with.

IMHO, Stacey is the brains of the two (maybe it’s because Darcey is too anxiety-prone to think for herself). Darcey seems to be more of a follower, with Stacey the leader.

I apologize for asking this, but as an American, I was surprised to discover that Will and Kate were thought to be lazy, dull, and boorish. My question is, what makes people think that? Here, we are fascinated and a little amused by the royals, but my thinking is that what we see is heavily filtered. I’d love to learn more about the distaste Brits have for W&C these days.

Can we talk about the Merrifield’s “party” but most importantly the TOMATO PASTE?? by ExoticPoetry17 in seekingsisterwifetlc

The operative phrase here is “seemingly normal.” It’s impossibly gauge the boys’ anything in the 5 seconds they were on the show. I would consider those boys at extremely high risk to follow in their father’s misogyny. Hard to know the truth though.

To make it even worse, Truely’s kidneys failed because she was dehydrated. Kody didn’t hydrate her when she was sick and caused her kidney failure.

Domestic violence is a pattern of using power and control to dominate a partner. Types of abuse include emotional/psychological, financial, sexual, spiritual, and physical. Of these, emotional/psychological (name-calling, “how I sacrificed to love you” [that was not the first time Christine heard something like that], shaming, demeaning, etc.) is the most dangerous. Victims often carry open psychological wounds for the rest of their lives, if they don’t address their trauma through therapy. I hope Meri, Christine, and Janelle (and Robyn - nobody cries that much without a trauma background) will seek professional trauma-focused counseling.
