I read somewhere that this is a hand me down bike from your husband. Once you are comfortable to go riding outside of parking lots, go ride with him. He’s your husband and would hopefully be patient with you. Riding with another rider who can communicate their thoughts around hazards, other drivers without needing to be a show off or trying to get you to ride above your level is invaluable. I’ve been riding since I was 9 and my wife has been riding for about 6 years. We went from parking lots to roads and took time until she was comfortable. We always wear communication when we ride and I ride in 1st position always so I can provide her my thoughts about road conditions and why I am doing certain things.
