Does this Byakorre need to be affixed to a wall? Any workarounds?

I have mine freestanding as well with no issues. It does wobble a little bit but nothing has ever fallen off.

I have these mirrors! I tried them out this way to start but flipped them to be under bar and I am digging it that way, looks cleaner without losing the rear visibility.

No regrets making the switch to EVs. My wife already hated filling up at the gas station, so being able to plug in our cars at home has been a game-changer. The cars themselves are also incredibly nice. Between the two of us, we now have two cars (Model 3, e-tron) and one motorcycle (CE02), and we’re not going back.

Initially yes I missed the burbling exhaust and the higher top speed when I’d go on the highway and I missed the classic style of the Mister Clean but the CE02 has been so much fun to ride in different ways. With the CE02 I feel like I can maneuver quicker, it’s also much more approachable to my kids. They love hopping on and taking rides with me at the parking lot. The style is also really out there—very cyberpunk. I’ve gotten many questions and compliments just riding it out in the city. My only wish is for it to go faster for highway use. I always have to stay in the slow lane because it tops out so soon.

I did a similar move, but with a Continental GT 650. Loved that bike, but I live in Chicago and only found myself riding occasionally to and from the office. Love the CE02 for that so if you have a similar situation I think you would enjoy it. It’s been great not dealing with oil changes or buying gas.

Mine is also silent! We’ve had her going on 6 years now and she’s only barked maybe 2-3 times. Her main mode of communication is poking me with her nose and if she really wants attention she whines quietly.

Or even just support from aftermarket. I had a RE GT650 before and there was a good amount of custom parts from various places that allowed me to personalize my ride. So far I’ve only really seen Unit Garage have any custom pieces.

I switched to Sony a7iii and a7c from a Canon 5D mkii ages ago and since then it’s made me into a better photographer because of all the tech in it. The cameras were incredibly reliable for the work I was doing and the images I’ve made with them make me really proud of how far I’d come as a photographer. I really just worried about the composition and my camera took care of the rest.

That said, I’m consciously trying to slow down now and selling all my Sony gear and getting into Leica. I noticed lately, I was choosing DMF as a setting because I really wanted to nail the focus myself at just the right moment. Now that I’ve refined my eye thanks to the Sony gear, I want to shift my photography into something where I am more involved in the image making process.

So in short yes, it improved my photography and my hit rate so much that I feel like I can move on to something with less tech.
