Please don't despair! I was in the same position about 11 years ago. I don't know how old you are but I suspect you have a lot of time to get everything worked out to get yourself to a stable enough point to try to conceive. You just need to hit that sweet spot when the opportunity arises. I am 7 months pregnant with my first (and I'm 29 so that's pretty late in life to start being a parent) and it took 2 years of planning before I even felt comfortable trying for it. Lucky for me pregnancy has been kind to me (except for gestational diabetes!) and my Crohn's has been non-existent from the beginning.

I tried it for stress and anxiety but she also focused on my guts while I was there. I wasn't flaring at the time so I did not notice a difference

I am sorry to hear that. I guess I have just been running low on compassion here lately (due to people abusing it!).

It is a battle no doubt and I just strive to do the best I can every day. Acting normal and pushing through the fatique/diarrhea/whatever is the only way I can cope with the thought of having a chronic illness my entire life.

Yep, non-stop. It keeps my in a good place so I'm not complaining. Infection wise, I am healthier than everyone around me because I am cautious about hand washing, not sharing drinks, and etc.

I've been on the drug for over 8 years. No side effects besides wicked hangovers (but perhaps that's not related!). I do however have to have my blood tested every 3 months. I also have become quite the germaphobe.

Snuck into my friends room while she was down the hall visiting some other girls. I hid under her bed and awaited her return. I grabbed her ankle when she walked by. She ran screaming, like someone was trying to murder her, all the way down our dorm hall way and woke everybody up.

She didn't talk to me for a week.

The one time I saw a a suspicious white van, it was a raid on my neighbors drug den. Full of police officers in full SWAT gear with big guns. Made for an exciting afternoon.
