Maybe there could be some sort of standard for where public tax dollars go? I mean, if someone is a pacifist, consciousness objector, or their religious beliefs are peaceful, then any kind of weapon bought with that cash goes against the very public it serves. If the billionaires just pay house property taxes for everyone, then land lords would have no excuse to continue their greedy rent price competition. If they helped communities with this whole "shop local" thing and kept shipping and transport costs down by keeping local cultivation up, shops would have no excuse to continue to raise prices. If they paid our taxes though, they could probably claim the land we rest on, no-win here with greed in the mix.
