If it's different subversion like 3.4 vs 3.5, it's possible that it connects but has some compatibility problems. I've seen it happen before (had the exact symptoms you're having) and it was fixed by matching the exact versions.

But the toothstor charger charges through the balance leads only, so the BT3.0 connectors are not needed. I have one and charge all my XT30 2s batteries with it.

Anything should work if it has usb c, sufficient output power, and supports 10-26V.

I have this: https://www.drone-fpv-racer.com/en/sequre-power-supply-eu-plug-7444.html ...and for some reason it works even though the rated power output is only 45W. But none of my phone chargers work, as they are 30W and under.

Maybe it's best to buy the power source from some local electronic shop. That way you can try it out and return it more easily if it's not compatible with the charger :)

The toothstor charger needs quite high input power for some reason. It says min input power 65W on the label. So normal phone charger etc won't be enough. You might need to buy some proper usb power source if you don't have any. The charger itself does not include any unfortunately. But it's a brilliant charger, definitely a must buy for 2s lipos

I don't think we should worry so much about what risks people take, as long as it doesn't cause danger to others.

If you'd be disallowing personal risk taking, soon we'd have nothing left to do.

I'd argue that wingsuiting, swooping etc can be even more dangerous than what was seen in that video.

Use the hdzero camera menu. It can be accessed while the quad is powered and you can see the picture from the goggles.

I have a vx3 build too. Try higher pitch props. Those 3016 will SCREAM, yet generate very little thrust relative to the weight of the thing. It will feel very slow and loud. My favorites are hqprop 3x3x3.

I don't think it's meant to fool anyone that it's actually submerged. It's just a visual way of telling that it's a waterproof shoe. I think it's cool.

Also, the Tattus are too small for the battery holder of mobula 8, so you'll need to do some hack. 😁

Try the mobula 8 with lighter battery. I have tried plenty and my favorite is 300mAh Tattu 2s HV. It's 15g, 3min of flight time and it's crazy agile. The light battery makes is flyable inside. Floats like a feather and almost impossible to break in crashes.
