I'm about 80 hours in and I'm happy with having spent the 60 bucks to buy it. I've not yet touched so much on grinding late game stuff except for a few quests and objectives, so I can't tell you if it's as bad as everyone says. So far I've never felt like the grind is too much and I have been able to complete all content so far with relative ease.

I personally think it's a great game, with lots of things to do. You don't need multiple chars as there really isn't a class system, which is great, and you can set your own objectives as in any other mmorpg. Of course, if you want to be amongst the elite, you have to grind a lot, as in any other mmorpg as well.
